Apply PRAGMA-UCSD CA user/host certificates

To obtain user/host certificates from PRAGMA-UCSD CA, you must be a member of PRAGMA or an individual working on
  • Programs involved in PRAGMA, or
  • Grid projects in collaboration with PRAGMA
The procedure for obtaining certificates can be described briefly as following:
  1. User download and fill the appropriate aplication form(s) below and email to PRAGMA-UCSD Management Team (pragma-ucsd-ca at sdsc.edu).
  2. A registration administrator (RA) will contact the user to arrange a face-to-face or VTC interview to verify the user's identity.
  3. Uppon verification of user's identity, the RA will email the user to inform this status change, sign user's application form(s) and submit to a certificate administrator (CA).
  4. The CA will email the user
    • The url to PRAGMA-UCSD CA client software package
    • The url to PRAGMA-UCSD CA client software user guide
    • A file contains an encrypted license id
    and hand or fax the password used to encrypt license id to the user.
  5. The user then follow the given user guide, install the give software package, request and retrieve the certificate(s).
